He had ago last year in this slot.
I am the Answer.
Recorded 8 weeks worth of shows and because of the high viewing figures it was 'rested' for a while and ITV still have 6 weeks to show.

Or perhaps not!

I'm sure there was a decent show waiting to get out of that though - it just needed a better format and better host!

Dancing on Ice slides into weekdays

ITV1 is to broadcast a spin-off of its hit Saturday entertainment show Dancing on Ice in the weekday afternoon slot left vacant by Paul O'Grady's defection to Channel 4.

The 30-minute show will be broadcast on ITV1 from Monday February 13, when The Richard Hammond Show ends its six-week run.

O'Grady stunned ITV executives with his defection to Channel 4 last month.

ITV is rustling up the Dancing on Ice spin-off as a stopgap. The show is expected to take a magazine format, featuring extra behind-the-scenes and rehearsal footage and interviews with the contestants.

The first half of the 5pm-6pm slot will be taken up with You've Been Framed repeats from February 13, with the Dancing on Ice spin-off at 5.30pm.

Details of ITV's plans for the 5pm slot were revealed in schedule exchanges for the week beginning February 13 between the broadcasters today.

Oh my goodness. 'Dancing on Ice' spin-off Shocked ! We're that step closer to 'ITV News - on Ice!'!

I really like 'Richard Hammond's 5 o'Clock Show'! B.T.W., y isn't Mel's name in the title?

'Richard Hammond's...' is about the last thing i watch on channel 3. I stopped watching 'The Bill', it just stopped entertaining me. I've stopped 'Corrie', stopped 'Meridian Tonight', with 'The Simpsons'. Looks like I'm not going to see that '1' expanding from that awful logo anymore! That 'itv' doesn't look good next to text. It just looks too small. It looks like '<funny house-shapped blob> NEWS', or '<blob>MERIDIAN', not 'ITV NEWS', or 'I.T.V.MERIDIAN', to me.

Forget the point just launch into a tirade, An example of a generic rant there if ever I've seen one.

What has the fact you've 'stopped corrie' or you don't like the new ITV logo got to do with this news story?
