Different programmes each day may be worth a try - I could imagine a replacement for CD:UK working quite well at 5pm on a Friday, with perhaps a couple of US imports on other days.

STV did this once it was quite good?

actulcy didn't ITV do this once beefore at 5pm aswell? about at least 7 years !

They've got the format right with a light hearted chat show, they just need a decent "entertainer" to host the show.

I'm sure it'll only be a matter of time before Barrymore pops up at 5pm. I personally couldn't think of anything worse - except maybe "The Richard Arnold Show".
