I think they should do a load of DVD's for ITV50 with one from each region so maybe The great ATV DVD could be Crossroads[it would be Tiswas but you'll see why i didn't say that if you keep reading this!] and The great LWT DVD could be SM:tv and after they could have a survey and the one which people want the most gets more DVD's made!
And a "The great region's DVD" theme going on here!

I probably didn't make a word of sense there but can anyone think of any more?

ITV are very poor at releasing DVD's of their back catalogue, there's all sorts of things I'd like to get hold of.

Crossroads, Ghosts of Motley Hall, and Pipkins are about to come out on DVD, by the same people (http://www.networkdvd.co.uk/) who released ATV's Shillingbury Tales recently.
I seem to remember reading that ITV has recently done a new deal with a DVD company to release more stuff. I suppose one of the main problems is that mush of the old stuff will be in many ownerships because of the way ITV has been structured in the past.

No offence but if there was to be a best of LWT I doubt it would include SM:TV, unless it was a montage video.

I do think ITV could do a 50 Years of ITV however. No doubt if it was released it would be rather Granada heavy.
