Hi, does anyone know where on the net I can find a video of an IBA/ITV test transmission film, I remember finding it somewhere before, it had lots of shots of transmitter sites, etc. I can;t seem to find the site it was on, searched on google, etc still can't find it.

Thanks.

Nope, it wasn't Youtube I found it, its on someones website as an mpeg, you tube is ok, but you can't download and keep them off there, so really youtube is useless. I had it on my old computer by the HDD messed up.

Don't remember a test transmission film like that, as such, Greg.

Could it have been an item originally included in the old 9.15am "IBA Engineering Announcements for the Radio and Television Trade"?

If so, there are quite a few clips from those "programmes" about on the web.

There are various methods of downloading off Youtube in the flv format such as http://keepvid.com/ and online conversion sites http://www.techcrunch.com/2006/11/04/online-file-conversion-services to convert it to other formats
