It appears Setanta now hold the UK rights to this prestigous series of athletics meetings.
It wasn't so long ago that ITV used to show these meetings live in prime time. Then they started tucking them away in late- night highlights slots.
Then Sky S[ports came along and started treating this with the respect it deserves, it was like the good old days of ITV Athletics with peter Matthews and Alan Parry providing the commentary.
Tomorrow's live meeting is only being shown on Setanta Ireland, unless I am very much mistaken, in which case I apologise. This is a very sad demise for this- the only place to catch top- class athletics on a weekly basis.
