Can I use my TV set & dvd harddisk recorder in England?

It would be for 3 years so I'm definately taking the ditch & buy a new one approcah for my tv as it's old anayway.
as for the dvd/ hdd recorder: samsung dvd-h40e
I just found out that indeed it supports both pal standards, there is only 1 setting for in & out btw

You best bet would be to get a Freeview Box/Sky Satellite, connect it to the scart of the DVD and then connect the DVD to the tv's aerial in set to he netherlands PAL standard. This should work fine. To view it all you have to do is put your TV on the DVD channel and then put the DVD on the scart input channel (normally AV1 or something like that).
