Whatever happened to Stephen Mulhern's Saturday show that he supposedly got at the end of last years SNT?

It has been filmed, or bits of it have at least, last Autumn there were a few reports on social media they had seen Stephen and a crew with contestants in the streets. Seems more of a "lead in" programme than something to anchor the schedule around. I suspect if it doesn't launch around the same time as BGT, it may be a candidate for quietly being shoved out in the Summer

On that note, whatever happened to the supposed Weakest Link reboot that was supposed to happen last year? I'm assuming the special wasn't as successful as they hoped.

I remember thinking last year, The Button was wasted on Friday nights and would work better as thes tart of Saturday primetime, as a lead in for a more traditional quiz. This as a potential schedule, assuming Final Score finishes around 5.15.

5:15- Family Film
6:30- News
6:45- Regional News
6:50- The Button
7:20- Pointless/Impossible
8:10- Casualty
9:00- Drama (Killing Eve esque)
10:00- News
10:20- MotD
11:50- Late Film

Ofc, nobody ever listens to me, but you can always live in hope!

That film slot is half an hour too short. Most films run a bit longer than 75 minutes nowadays!

It wasn't a reboot, it was a one off for Children in Need to go in the 10pm slot on BBC Two. I seem to remember reading they had to import the set from somewhere in Europe.

Which is what he said - there was a rumoured revived full series after the special.

What about a six week singing contest that has four weekly heats, each coming from a different arena, in a different city? Two artists go to direct to the grand final, and two more go to a wildcard round. The ultimate winner then gets to represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest, and a record deal.
