Has anyone saw the new trailers for HIGNFY?

The one I saw was so funny!
There is Paul Merton in front of the camera dressed as some member of a religeous sect in purple with a large hat on. Its acted out as if they are in the future and being interviewed about 2001, Paul Merton says along the lines of (I cant remember exactly):

Yes 2001 was a bit of a funny year for me that was when I became as what you can see me as today: A taxi driver going to a fancy dress party!

Its really funny, look out for it.

There is another one where Ian was a rap artist, he said he beat Eminem and so forth. The he said that Angus had moved to Canada. You then see Angus saying that he likes living up there. He then starts stroking his rifle!

(That is what I could remember, if I missed something, feel free to corect)

Look out for this one too!

Im really looking forward to the new series!

Also does anyone remember last series` trailers where it was styled as Big Brother and Paul Merton fell off the chair, it was so funny!,On the subject of Paul Merton and Room 101 , Anne Robinson today was cleared of racism from the Broadcasting Standards Commision(p.s. I dont want to start an argument here so please dont reply about Anne Robinson, just incase!)

Yes the BBC trailers are much better than any other channel. They are cleverly made, and have some variety of voiceovers too. ITV always seem to show the same boring ones week after week. I can never remember what ITV is advertising anyway, except perhaps Peak Practice.

I can still remeber BBC trailers from last year i.e - Royle Family, Have I got news for you (last years). The Beeb deserve a pat on the back Smile

Hopefully it'll be another good series but they are in limbo because of the move of the election and the producer did say in Radio Times that they'll 'try and not have a celebrity chef on every week!'

Cheers, Asa

I'm sure the new series will be as good as other ones. There is not a show that I can remember that I didn't have a good laugh at.

The 'I Love 2001' trailers are very funny, a good way to promote the new series.

CAN'T WAIT!

Haha - I'm taking a break from updating the site for a while, but not the forum - it's becoming increasingly the best bit of TV Home!!

Personally, I dont buy the Radio Times (apart from Xmas and the new look one) so can't really compare too much! I dont see anything wrong with the one from my newspaper to be honest!

Cheers, Asa
