Well, I'm a Christian, and I believe in the Bible. But you don't to take it fundamentally. Sometimes what it says means something else, often more complex which you have to interpret yourself. So don't just take it all the time for what it says. For example, when it says about seeing the dot on a persons eye and not seeing the log in your own, it really means that you shouldn't judge other people without looking at yourself.

Sorry, this is very off-topic!

Even religious people are narrow minded!

Religion isn't just about Christianity or the Bible, there are hundreds, if not thousands of religions around the world.

Does anyone know what it means when it says disobedient children should be taken to the gates of the city and stoned to death?

Now thats one which we wouldn't do nowadays. In the past they would have! Sometimes you have to look at it realistically. It probably means that they should be punished or something. Its just an example from the time!

Well, it's kinda like that today, except nowadays disobedient children go and take themselves to the gates of the city and do get stoned (to death)! Smile
