Excellent episode tonight.
I measured it in an odd way.
There was a fade to black, for commercials to be added on the UKTV Drama repeat, at about forty minutes in. When that happened I was convinced we were only about fifteen minutes in, that's how engrossed I had been.

Yes, I often do that during Hustle, and indeed, did it last time. You feel like you've been watching it for a long time, and it's still only a quarter-way in!

So cheesy it's good- it loves itself far too much and has SO SO many plot-holes, but regardless it's sheer entertainment.
From their website, it seems this series is also just 6 episodes long....a good call in my opinion. I think that's just enough in one year to be charmed by the direction and in-your-face shininess, without getting frustrated by the plots or feel the concept is getting old.

This really is a brilliantly entertaining romp.
The slo-mo formation strutting, asides to camera and general smugness of them all is part of the charm.
