Added to that, Westcountry never had their own tx even then. Because of the legal battle with TSW, Westcountry ended up having to hurriedly scrape together facilties less than a year before their launch (not until February 1992 were they actually sure they would start in January), and transmission would have been too much of a headache for them.
So, they made a deal with HTV Wales to do their tx for them. Presumably it was intended that one day they might take it on themselves (along with moving out of the industrial unit miles outside of the city centre that serves as their studios) but with everything else happening at ITV, tx stayed at HTV until, as was said, it was transferred to LNN a few months ago.
