What do you think of the Westcountry News titles, Jez?

You'll be pleased to know I've grown fond of the trumpets on HTV News Wales

I think Westcounty Live titles are very good - they are my 3rd fave after HTV Wales and Meridian Tonight.

I can't remember if it was you I asked, but what did you think of how HTV News Wales used to look, with the floating HTV over the yellow/orangey background?

I didnt mind it but no way was it as good as the 1997 blue titles, 1989 gold blindes or the current look complete with trumpets.

Do you watch HTV News Wales a lot then?

I see it when I'm in Colwyn Bay. My girlf lives there. I also got a tape yesterday of HTV News Wales that a pal did for me. It does look cool. Are you like me then, only get to see other programmes when you're in the broadcast area?

Yes, Central South when in Hereford, Meridian when in Isle of Wight and Central East when in Nottingham as I have family in those areas. But ive see London Tonight on the ITV News Channel, HTV West/Westcountry on cable and HTV Wales on terrestrial

Seeing the local programme makes the holiday for me! i used to go to wales and hear the htv ident music (before all the generic stuff) and it would make it special!!!

Shame that i wont get that anymore now that itv1 looks the same.
