HTV News

Which is better then people, HTV News West or HTV News Wales? Either in terms of presentation or content.

By the way, do both regions have weather forecasts by the same weather presenter? You get Charlie, Emma, James and Joanna and co don't you, like we do with Carlton Central?

First of all, what a silly question!

Secondly, HTV Wales has a local (shock!) weather presenter called Ruth, who's lovely, and very pregnant. We get the Carlton presenters as well though.

I got in trouble for my Central forum, so I thought I'd go a bit further with HTV. I've seen so many dissin HTV Wales for the trumpets or HTV West for summat, I just thought I'd see what the true picture was.

Yes Wales have Ruth Wignall as their weather presenter but whether she is lovely is a matter of debate. Ive never liked her. I like the others we get - btw James is a Wales presenter as he does the weather at least 3 times a week on HTV Wales (sometimes more) he is very good and does those weather picture things where the viewers have to send them in - Ruth doesnt seem to bother. So when you see James on Central its only cos Charlie/Emma/Jo arnt available and he stands in. Tonight it was Charlie on HTV West and Central I believe but we got James on Wales. Also before anyone starts the reason I have Ruth in my sig it was only cos people would comment id left her out when I included James.

Also I much much prefer HTV Wales news to West - firstly wheever ive seen West news it comes across as a bit boring and the presenters arnt very friendly imo. I like most of the presenters on Wales. and secondly I am from Wales and still live there so obviously I am more interested in the news from Wales rather than the West.

Is James actually Welsh?

HTV West for me!! Jenny Hull is great and she used to be on South Today. The music is good.

Not sure but im sure I remember someone on this forum said he was from Wales - he is an ITV1 Wales presenter like Ruth is anyway, not Central as he does HTV Wales mostly only standing in occasionally on Central.

You're like me I Really Hate HTV West, can't stand your own regional programme. I wonder how many people on this forum actually do think their own region is best...

I think my ITV region is the best (HTV News Wales) although there are some ITV regions ive not seen - the ones I have seen are London, Central South, Central West, Central East, Wescountry, HTV West, Meridian and of course HTV Wales.
