HTV DID relaunch

As I said yesterday, HTV West did relaunch today ... (well, yesterday...)

Main changes ...

- New logo (it's kinda almost the same, but the colours are a lot brighter)

- Background is no longer the gallery, but a blue-tinted plasma screen of their newsroom (where have I seen that before ...)

- New desk (and mostly new set) which looks like it's been bought from MFI (it's sooooooo funny - yellow and chrome! Yuck!)

- New theme tune - which made me laugh too - really really bad.

Had a look at the new-look HTV News today, and I have to see I think it's probably the best look they've ever had!

The set and graphics (apart from those dodgy astons) are probably the most professional-looking I've ever seen on HTV. The set's very similar to the one on HTV Wales, but with a much better desk and, IMHO, a better colour scheme.

All in all, not bad for HTV!

By the way, who's the girl doing the weather? She looked like she was dressed to go out clubbing on tonight's programme! Leopardskin trousers????

If you ask me, it's bloody terrible.  Watch out for when they do maps, with the dodgy aston-style lines at the top and bottom. Looks like the map has gone wonky.

The presenters, well ... more charisma in my toenail than that lot ...

The whole programme just doesn't work - it's awful - and that's reflected in their p*ss poor ratings.
