htv cock up yet again

No progs for 30 mins today (May 2005)

Anyone see htv at about 2.30 this afternoon ? Black for ages with the odd flash of pictures doing silly things . It was like that for at least half an hour ! Very Happy What were the silly sods doing all that time ? Brave new itv that hath such wonders ...... What a joke of a company !!! Laughing
Even worse at ten to seven they had a Westcountry (?) news insert go out !
Is there anyone in charge of anything anymore ?

Sounds like a combination of a bad case of nobody monitoring the correct corner of the videowall I'm not allowed to mention at the South Bank; and a lack of viewers in the region concerned telephoning the highly expensive 0870 number for the Duty Office to draw anybody's attention to the fact.

Is this a videowall that shows all the regions output at a given time?

Surely that's not a big secret !

Even the thickest person could work out someone had to monitor what's going on all the time!
