Well they are back in studio 2 now, i think. There is a green glow around the chromakey instead of the blue before

Is a bloody BUG, not DOG

Don't get upset mate, Asa - whose site this is - has stated on a number of times that DOG and BUG are the same thing and we can put either. We all know what we mean anyway.

You guys really notice the smallest detail.

How many hours of Sky News do you all watch in any one day?

Oh grow up Sirreal.
I think the vast majority of people in here have at least half a brain and recognise both DOG and BUG.
Remind me to call my biro a 'Metal tipped ball pen'.

And anyway, a BBC employee has posted in this thread so we have to use DOG, otherwise he obviously wouldn't have a clue what we were talking about... get a grip.

Just been watching Fox News Channel on Sky.
Alek, you know you were talking about that spinning DOG?

V. ANNOYING!!!!!!

I've had to endure Shepard Smith banging on about Fox's 'Vast global resources'... that's 5 overseas bureau!

Does anyone know if Fox is coming to Telewest? Or does anyone know of a website for Telewest that has news of things like this. I've tried telewest.co.uk but I can't fathom out where it would be.

Fox News Channel is only on Sky News Active at the moment, but apparently it is coming to Sky as a platform later in the year, although I was told it was just to go on Sky News Active.
I'm not sure about Telewest.
I'm certain MSNBC is available in the UK but i'm not sure which platform it's on. Both Fox and MSNBC are available around the world, although obviously nowhere near as much as CNNi, BBC World and Sky.
But I'm sure once Sky sort themselves out with this relaunch they will add Fox News.
MSNBC on the other hand i'm not sure about. CNBC is available and so It would make a lot of sense to add MSNBC.
At the moment we don't have one American news channel.
Ok, CNNi is based in American but soon we will only get bulletins from London, as CNNi is making London a production centre, so all European viewers will get their news from the London HQ, like all Asia viewers get their news from the Hong Kong newsroom - the CNN Asia Centre.
Fox and MSNBC would be the first fully American news channels, which can be useful if something important is happening in the US that the channels over here aren't really interested in.
Take this Chandra Levy case a an example, none of the networks over here (quite rightly) care about it.
But if we had acccess to the US network we could see more of it.
Shame really!

I was watching fox news a minute ago but it was showing an entertainment programme and it said showbiz above the screen. Will it be showing fox news live at the top of the hour?

I suppose it's not gonna make much difference now but I actually quite like the current Sky News logos/sets... Razz: let's just hope they don't screw it about too much or they might lose viewers... For information about Sky NewsActive, you can email newsactive@sky.com with your comments/questions... whether they reply or not is up 2 them...

This isn't exactly true. Most of the time CNN in Asia does come from Atlanta or London (actually, London are doing a lot of stuff now, with Buisness International, World News Europe and the 1700 GMT World News going all around the world), it's just in Breakfast and Prime Time that stuff comes from Hong Kong. I guess that it is a big opt-out, but it doesn't mean we don't get to see much of the international service. Smile
