Twitterers seem generally happy about it - apart from Grandmaster Flash not shutting up and pleading 'Stay with me'.

Also, is it genuinely live? The video effect gives the appearance of pre-recorded.

They should have brought some clubbers in to be honest, it's a bit weird with a devoid space around the DJ

One of the earlier links before the last part of How Clubbing Changed The World crashed into the programme from over-running (Charlie Sloth being too slow, incidentally), so the indication is that it's very much live.

Also worth noting the ad-break before this consisted purely of back-to-back Ministry Of Sound album commercials.

Loving the 4s too! There's an occasional glimpse of a wall clock inside the booth - showing live time.

It's definitely getting positive feedback via Twitter. I wouldn't mind if they made this a regular thing (maybe shorter).
