So is this showing on Five this month or next?

Today was the season Finale on RTE, the sutherlands still stuck down the mind shaft, with one or two of them their lives in the balance.
Tashas mothers indentity is revealed but no surprises there.
Its one of them episodes you think uve seen 100 times before from home and away with nothing original in the story line, with Alf leading a man hunt out in the bush for the sutherlands. Home and away story lines seem a bit like eastenders at the mo, uve seen em all before.
Home and away is taking a 2 week break here in Ireland from June 14th returning on June 28th.

About time some one dies after all the accidents there has been in the programme in the last few weeks well here on RTE, Five have yet to air them.

Home and Away will be taking a break in Oz for the Olympics, but there are some great cliffhangers in the final show.
Major Spoilers (highlight to reveal):
A character called Sarah shoots several of the Bay's residents (in an attempt to avenge the murder of a loved one). On the day of his wedding to Hayley, Noah is shot dead! Another regular is also rumoured to be killed off in the subsequent episodes.

Well I watched it for the first time today (since I stopped watching it religously in the mid-90s back on Central) after all the talk on here...
It's a good show! And, controversially, I quite like the filmic effect. If you think of the TA that Hollyoaks has, the show is really just an Aussie version of Hollyoaks and for a primarily "teen soap" it works.
You notice the HDTV differences totally too - especially if you're watching on a large widescreen TV with digital...everyone and everything look absoloutely fantastic! The girls are gorgeous and the beaches are beautful - bring it on!
I'm hooked once again I guess...
BTW - I think you're right about five having more bandwith on DSat - it generally looks a lot clearer than the others, which is quite ironic when you think back to 1997!!!

Well I do know in the new season that (highlight from 'ere) >>
two "favourites" are off and there's 4 "sexy" new people
The key to H&A's sucess is to keep it sexed up. The fact that everyone looks f**king gorgeous alone is a reason to tune in! The storyline of Dani's trial is a stroke of genuis scriptwriting - the swimming pool incident on Friday was inspired.

My source for the above spoiler was the Aussie magazine TV Hits, which I quote below. I won't bother spoilerising it, but don't read on if you don't want to know who dies:
The death is also rumoured to take place before the Olympic break down under.

Paging all Home and Away fans! Do we have some big news for you or what?! Somethings always gotta go wrong on the soaps and two of Summer Bay's hottest residents are about to face the acting rollercoaster of their carrers! Now, life at the moment couldn't be more perfect for Noah Lawson and Hayley Smith. After years of mush and melodrama as Home and Away's cutest couple, they've finally achieved the Holy Grail of Aussie Drama- the soapie wedding! But fans of the photogenic pair (played by the gorgeous real-life twosome Bec Cartwright and Beau Brady) had better get out the Kleenex- because this picture-perfect little wedding is gonna turn Noah's spine-tingling last goodbye! Yep. just after Noah and Hayley become Mr and Mrs Lawson our boy Noah gets killed in the most shocking episode of Home and Away yet. But who's the looney that pulled the trigger? You're going to have the tune in and find out
