Fridays episode was all about the High school end of year party or the after math of it with Rhys getting his annual roasting only this year it was from Cain (to think I actually I first seen last years finale in 18 mths ago in oz). Noah Kissed Kit. Kit youngers brother also has arrived.
Max's girlfriend died Ellouise and he makes a shrine to her in a mine shaft, and he tells Tasha where it is and she in turn tells Kirsty.
Max goes Missing as he sprains his ankle in the mine and cant get out, they all go looking for him and find him, Rhys goes down for him and then thats where the action all starts I'll not spoil it for you but it was dramatic to watch and took me by surprise as the build up to it was crap.

Late as usual, but I've only just seen how H&A looks with the new look. Terrible.

The movement is so juddery I'm surprised it passed any kind of technical review at all.

Today was the season Finale on RTE, the sutherlands still stuck down the mind shaft, with one or two of them their lives in the balance.
Tashas mothers indentity is revealed but no surprises there.
Its one of them episodes you think uve seen 100 times before from home and away with nothing original in the story line, with Alf leading a man hunt out in the bush for the sutherlands. Home and away story lines seem a bit like eastenders at the mo, uve seen em all before.
Home and away is taking a 2 week break here in Ireland from June 14th returning on June 28th.

H&A will also be taking a break in Oz for the Olympics, which may speed up the UK 'catchup' process by another 2 or 3 weeks, though it's likely to be another four years or so before we're back on par with Australia - that's if the show lasts that long. I hope it does.

Spoiler below for fans of Laurie Foell (Angie Russell):

Arrow Laurie Foell returns to H&A, first playing Angie's ghost in one episode, then in a recurring guest role playing her 'identical cousin'!

Today was the first day of new Home and Away credits on RTE, and its nice to see a return to the traditional beach scenes for the cast.
The show started with a recap after the opening credits, thought this is normal for H & A with new season, as we got 5 minutes recap on last few days episodes.
Cain has been added to the opeing credits as has Robbie Hunter, Beths other son.
The end credits are very short thought.

The character and actor names are quite difficult to read too, however the captions are made larger in a few weeks time when the credits are updated to reflect cast changes.

On watching todays episode I do agree with you they are readable just about the end credits are them same thought you would need a magnifying glass to see the year 2004.

Have RTE always shown the final 'frame' of the closing credits, showing the copyright caption, date and Channel Seven website URL? Five superimpose an old H&A logo over that particular frame - obviously wanting people to use their own website instead.

RTE show the programme as it would be in Australia (minus whats coming up tomorrow shown in oz only) and we get the seven logo also and distrubuted by southern star ( I thinks thats what theyre called).
Same with Neighbours with long credits the Quantas and Mercure Hotel ads and distributed by Fremantle media .

Home 2004 plot lines are looking very bad already I dont think this programme can last another few years.

Care to explain what you mean by that?

Sure, I could do without the Danni/Kane plotline at the moment, but it's not doing too badly.
