Do you know which ex-H&A characters are going to turn up in the 'Campus' spin-off?

Apparently nothing has been confirmed yet - Channel Seven hope to start filming later this year aiming for a pilot show to go out in Oz during the Christmas/New Year non-ratings period.

At least that's what Beau mentioned to me on the phone last night Wink

Forgot to mention that Brodie and Morag also return to the show in guest roles.

Also, Prisoner fans will be pleased to know that Maggie Kirkpatrick appears briefly before the end of this season, and again she is behind bars! A bit of typecasting there? We're supposed to forget that she also played Marilyn's Auntie Jean in the early 90s!

Kane Phillips, the man with the smallest mouth in Australia, is back to stay too!

Name dropper! Very Happy

Thanks for that info. Moderately up on the upcoming events now, having had a trawl through the Aussie H&A site a couple of days ago, but it's useful to have people with inside information. Smile

Morag is current in Home and away on RTE as the judge in Danni's trial for attempted murder of Cain.

Was watching Home and awat this evening on RTE and guess who turned up as the top dog in the womens prison Danni Sutherland is current in for attempted murder of Cain, it was none other than Maggie Kirkpatrick aka Joan Fergurson in prisoner cell block h. Although the character is called the "guvnur" and why is she there?

She's a legal person who's been wrongfully incarcerated , She was a magistrate in the children's court who uncovered in her line of work a pedophile ring - stop me if you heard this before - consisting of judges, lawers and politicians.

When she tried to expose them, they set her up and she's in jail.

Channel Seven should have just got permission of grundy TV to use the character the freak, or i wonder are C7 and grundy still fell out after burning the neighbours sets all them yrs ago?????????

Excellent! This is fantastic news. I shall look forward to this happening here in the UK!

Prisoner had a pretty big following when I watched it and it always amazes me that with all the channels I can get on cable none of them show Prisoner.

Yet we get shows about americans dating, shows about american celebrity's "cribs" (ARGH) and other imported shash.

We'll see these episodes on Five in July, so not long to wait!

Let's hope that the proposed Aussie Gold channel purchases Prisoner!

By the way, I've just realised that the guy playing the film director in H&A just now is none other than Ric Herbert, who played Helen Gordon's son Roger in Young Doctors in the seventies. Bloody hell, it makes me feel old that I can remember him over twenty years later! Wink

Looks as if this is gonna be the Season Finale this week on RTE.

Well, tonight's episode on Five was Nick's last appearance. I hope he returns for the odd guest role, though I don't think he has yet down under - maybe he will make an appearance at a wedding that's on the cards there?

I think we will see the opening titles updated on Monday with Tasha replacing Nick.

BTW, are RTE showing the 2004 episodes as yet?

Well no signs of any weddings on RTE unless Rhys and Beth.
I think last nights episode was Seasonal Finale in oz or if not its the one before, it finished with the Sutherlands all trapped down an old mine shaft, but i must admit watching the programme this last week or two is like watching paint dry......

If last night's ep was the one where Flynn told Irene who Tasha's natural mother is, then it was the finale. The Sutherlands fall down the shaft in the penultimate episode, but the situation worsens at the end of the season finale.

Look out for the new title sequence next week on RTE!

Oh and the wedding that's on the cards down under is (highlight area after arrow to reveal).....

Arrow Hayley and Noah
