MINOR SPOILER:
Kirsty is the only Sutherland still on Aussie screens, and I believe she and Kane leave around March time down under. Max left in September; Rhys in October and Dani in November.

And Beth appears to be using the name Hunter again (probably the writers wanting to cut the Sutherland link).

Yes, Kit is classed as a guest character, though she has recently been back on Aussie screens for over two months. I don't think there are any plans to bring her back permanently at this stage.

No there has not because that paticular part of the set was destroyed by the bush fires last year.

I know that i was in Sydney when it happened and it didnt make Australian news but made Bristish news.
Was wondering if they had plans to replace the set with something new.

Eight versions altogether ( and nine if you include the goof one where Kirsty is credited as Kristy).

It was actually two years ago the caravan park location was destroyed by bush fires, in December 2002. They don't feel the need at present to build a replica, as they feel the show has changed direction a lot and the scenes of the caravan park aren't necessary.

We start on Set 5 on Monday in light of Seb and Jade's depatures. All that changes is that the shot of Kane, Kirsty and the Big Red Heart is flipped and enlarged.

This is the last title-sequence change for a while - the next change will happen at the end of March following the Oylmpic Cliffhanger.

Paula Forrest's reappearances as Shelley have been good, but a little odd. She initially seemed very much glammed up from her old Summer Bay days (presumably to distinguish her from Beth), but she's been much more down-to-earth and like her old self, this time round. Is it me or are they already sowing the seeds of Rhys' departure in the way he has been with Shelley?


Oh yes! As you may know Arrow Rhys and Shelley get back together but I think that happens nearer the Olympic Cliffhanger. But watch carefully over Christmas as things get very interesting!
