I'm pretty sure it's the beach credits. Why are five squashing them to plug the txt club?!

Well Home and Away is off air here again, probably will be back next week on a new look RTE 2.
Ive not seen any Bec Cartwright promos on RTE thought ive not seen any home and away now for about 3 weeks.
I noticed that Channel five are not showing the last screen of credits with the Home and away web site address other info.
I also think Channel 5 may have edited the season finale as it looked no where near as dramatic on five as it did on RTE.

Well, some sensible person at Five today didn't 'squash' the credits but superimposed the ECP over the left-hand side of the screen, precisely what this style of credits was produced for. Good on you Five!

Yeah, I noticed this too - in fact on Tuesday's episode they missed out the last TWO frames of credits, yet the song ended at the right time every night. Haven't worked out how they are managing that yet.

What viewing figures is five gettin anyway for Home and Away?

Not as good as ITV's but still damn good for Channel 5 - 2 or 3 million I think.

I thought Five were doing a really crap edit of the audio on the credits because the vocal comes in funny but apparently that's how it goes in Australia too.

I can only think Five are slowing down the credits or something.

Nope! It was almost the same as the Australian version save for there being no promo for the 2004 season.

You all may be interested to know that if the show continues to be on every weekday, then we will be seeing the Olympic Cliffhanger on Friday 25th March 2005.

Thanks to Si-Co @ Everysoap.com for that!
