Hi all,
Just a very quick question and I apologise if it's been asked before but I couldn't see anything much by doing a search. What input does five have on the production of Home & Away if any? Same thing goes for the BBC and Neighbours. I'd be grateful if anyone can help or point me to any sources of further information.

I would have thought, none.

Is Pipper still there? I know she changed actress once ages ago. From a blonde and thin to a brunette and fat women.

Also, is Alf Stuart still there (and his wife who I can't remember her name, but I remember she stabbed her grandad)

Five does have input into Home and Away. I'm not sure what sort of input though.

Five has input into Home and Away, Neighbours has input from the BBC.

In both cases I think the UK broadcasters are very significant funding partners for the series - in fact I think H&A is now classed as UK production (or a UK produced programme) in Five's ITC commitments towards UK production?

Pippa - No
Alf - Yes.
Alisa (his wife) - No. Although, she kinda returns soon (yes, dispite the fact she's dead).

Donald Fisher - Yes (but not for too much longer)

Five pays for around half of the production costs and has a significant input with scripts and storylines.

BBC doesnt fund any of the production of Neighbours, but has a very close relationship with a small influence on stories, eg the Hitting Home, domestic abuse.

The dangers of guessing the answer to a question, there.

Again, sorry if this has been discussed before but I've only just noticed that the Bodyform sponsor credits have gone and not been replaced. They've been there since Five started re-showing it in 2001.
