I'd have thought that Casualty and Holby City are dramas, they have short runs every year, they are not on every week unlike soaps such as Coronation Street, Neighbours, Crossroads, etc.

I think that Night and Day will be on at 5.30 when it starts later this year, although I'm sure I heard that it's an afternoon soap, so maybe it'll be 2.00. Oh god, I don't know. It can't be on at 5.30 I suppose, what'll Mike Neville think up in Tyne Tees land?

Actually, no, forget all that, it'll be on at 5.05, because Crossroads is crap and will be rightly axed hopefully. But hopefully we'll still see Jill's daughter somewhere, because she is quite lovely.

Oh yeah, the technical term for programs like Holby City and Casualty is s*** e .

Docusoaps are non-fiction documentaries which are broadcast as series.

EastEnders is in fact commissioned one series at at time, but is run together as a continuing story. Production team members and cast therefore have contract renewals at these changeover times, and often that is why you will see big changes to the cast when a new producer takes over. They are considered 'Drama Serials', although we know them as soaps.

The actual reason Home & Away crew are in UK is to film a special, including an appearance by 1-hit wonder Attomic Kitten

Erm, are Atomic Kitten the one-hit wonders who've had, um, four hits?
