Well, looks like five have caught up too much, as from next week, they're taking a 3 week break. Fiver are showing vintage episodes being advertised as the "Home and Away Summer Break").

Home and away have a 4 week break for the Olympic Correct?

then again in in xmas thus 5 weeks needed it to be taking off again,

Which episodes will they be showing? I know they only have episodes from around the year 2000.

So it will help come Christmas, otherwise they'd need to take it off for 9 weeks at Christmas.

I mean there could have taken whole of August off,

It's being taken off due to the fact that Seven are taking a fortnight off for the Olympics.

If Five and Fiver carried on they'd fully catch up over Christmas whilst the show was off-air for Summer on Seven - as it is we'll only be 2-3 weeks behind by Christmas

Seems a sensible thing to do.

Next week it's "4 Weddings & A Funeral" - the two weddings of Sally (the failed one to Keiran in 2000 and the not-failed one to Flynn in 2003) along with Leah and Dan's wedding (2005) and Jack and Martha's first wedding (including that Godawful explosion storyline from 2006.)

Then it's the funeral of the recently-slabbed Flynn.

Can we remove that signature plugging his latest probably awful radio show?
