i think amanda wants deep down 2 b liked, but thinks if she isn't gonna get that anyway then what's the point of trying, so why not be evil? I still wanna c her triumph over josh tho! he's the most evil of them all! Evil or Very Mad

I don't like Cassie, hope Ric decides to get together with Belle. And Kim and Rachel are just so sweet - she looks like a little doll when she's standing next to him!

tasha and robbie's wedding was just so lovely, i thought she looked gorgeous! but, in soap tradition, it didn't all go to plan (not that it was a big surprise!)

Seven are to axe the opening credits it seems!

A bad move IMO, the theme song is a big part of the show - surely viewers will decline Down Under?

omg! Axe the opening credits - is there a link for this, where did you hear this?

I know that they havent used opening credits during some episodes, but to axe the titles completely is mad.

at last somebody's got rid of josh! i was just starting to think he hadn't been put in opening credits despite being there for a while, whereas belle is clearly staying as she's just been included. i can't believe they're even thinking about axing the credits, they're a big part of the show!

Don't worry it's not permanent!

Many Australian viewers have recently been wondering what has happened to the show's opening titles and world famous theme tune. Recently, the show has started going straight from the recap to the day's episode, removing the opening titles usually sandwiched in between.

Well, Australia's 'The Courier-Mail' reports that this won't be forever. They report that a Seven spokesperson has confirmed that the theme and titles will be brought back "once they get through this run of bad luck on Summer Bay". Apparently, with so much happening at the moment, they need every second of airtime possible, and cutting the opening titles was the easiest way to achive this.

The article also reports that new opening titles are being filmed in about a fortnight. Could this see the 'picture frame' theme replaced by brand new titles, or does it simply mean that the shots will get another refresh? At the start of the 2006 season, all but one of the credit shots were changed, but still remained in the picture frame style, which debuted at the beginning of the 2004 season.
