This has been disussed above. It will put the Five Life episodes (and the Five Life omnibus) into the correct 'five-episode block' as shown in Australia - I'm hoping that is their intention, and they don't plan to drop episodes every bank holiday.

Notice for the first time since moving to Five Home and Away has a day off on Monday, which also means a "week" on episodes on Five will now run from Tuesday to Monday assuming Seven haven't skipped a day somewhere.

Fans of H&A may be interested to know that Five Life will be repeating earlier episodes starting on Monday 21 May.
It appears two episodes will be shown each weekday morning, at 10am and 10.30am. The first episodes to be shown are from the 2000 season, and are the first ever episodes shown on Five in July 2001 (they obviously don't have the rights to repeat ITV episodes, and I also believe there are problems with repeating the early years in any country because of the actors' contracts).
I'm quite happy these will be shown again because I stopped watching during the ITV run and didn't pick up the show again until the 2002 season shown here in 2003.

WOW! This is excellent news!
So they'll be picking up from the lead-up to the big reunion of the 90s cast for Sally's non-wedding to Kieran and the beginning of the Sutherland era?
Are they showing the catchup episode do you know?!

It doesn't appear so. A little more info at BTTB and a discussion thread here

Guess then Five Life are beginning to abandon their kids programming if H&A is on at 10am - though that's not a huge surprise.
Are they showing all episodes, or will they be more selective and just show key episodes? If it's all at 2 episodes a day no danger of them catching up for a few years yet!
Note they're dubbing it "The early years"... which isn't exactly the phrase that springs to mind for 2000!

There are no editions of Home and Away on Monday 28 May. From Monday 21 May the 4p.m repeat on five life moves to 5.30p.m., which means you can catch the next episode at 6p.m. on five.

Quite sensible really. They dont want to get as close as ITV did and end up having to take it off air for several weeks or reduce it to 4 days a week. ITV were something like 4 days behind Oz at one point.
