I remember her as Rebecca Fisher. I remember the character had to be played by another actress for a time as she was ill. Very sad news

Very sad news. So young.

There appears to be a curse associated with playing Rebecca Fisher; Megan Connolly, who ironically stood in as Rebecca while Belinda was having cancer treatment, committed suicide some time ago. At least one other actress has played Rebecca (Danielle Carter) and we can only hope she avoids such ill fortune.

Don't recall the character at all - I'm assuming she's the daughter or something of Fisher?

According to IMDB four actress have played Rebecca Fisher/Nash - Jane Hall, Danielle Carter, Belinda Emmet and Megan Connolly.

The character was the daughter of Donald and Barbara Fisher I believe. Barbara was the sister of Alf and Morag.

I remember her that's shocking news, she's only a year older than me.

So sad, to hear the news about Belinda Emmet. Rove McMannus (her Husband) is said to have cancelled his show 'Rove' in memory of her, and will maybe rekindle his Australian Chat show next year....

I remember Rebecca, in Home and Away, by the piano, playing a tune - she loved that piano. (and her Travis!)

They had the full titles (with some new scenes) for one episode a couple of weeks ago - but not seen since!

I see they have added Drew and Brad to the credits. Im glad they are both regular cast instead of guests as they are interesting characters.

So Brad is the new Mr Fisher!

The staff at Summer Bay High seem to be younger than the students!

Strange tonight - open with the full new titles, and then show the recap (in the usual recap screen).

So how long does it take them to figure out they had it right first time around?

They are obviously trying out different formats for the start of the show. Personally i think the opening titles and theme music are an important part of the show, and at least they update them often unlike Hollyoaks.
