Quote:
Channel 5 is marking almost four years under Viacom with a campaign firmly cementing itself as a comforting, unpretentious brand for a thoroughly British audience.

Channel 5’s talent sits at the heart of ‘At Home on 5’s creative, which launches today (26 March). TV spots feature the likes of Tony Robinson, Ben Fogle, Jane McDonald and Claudia-Liza Armah discussing the concept of ‘home’, and what it means to them.

The channel in my opinion is very strong. It's found its feet and is appealing to their intended audience very well. Like other terrestrial channels it offers a lovely mix to appeal to different age groups.

Big Brother is their Achilles heel. It generates a lot of revenue for them, but is woefully off-target for what they now claim to be.

The legacy of Dirty Des remains.

Spotted the ad campaign on a big screen in Euston station yesterday, really like it.

There's one across the road from my house beside the shops. Don't think I've ever seen a billboard for a Channel 5 programme, let alone one for the channel itself and certainly not in Northern Ireland before.

With a connection to Crisis, is this a channel branding campaign or a charity appeal?
