That's the point. It's been a long time since Hollyoaks has done a promo along those lines - for the last few years they've all mainly been using clips out of the show, with the exception of the Who Killed Claire promo (which I don't think I ever saw on TV.).
Wasn't there a non-tv-clip promo last year? "Life's better when you rub Hollyoaks on it"
Yes, but that never made it onto TV. I think it was just designed to attract advertisers.
Well it was defiantly a part print campaign and I'm sure I saw it on TV a number of times myself as it was at a time when I didn't watch Hollyoaks so I wouldn't have actively sought it out on youtube or whatever. Was that mainly an internet campaign then?

It certainly was on TV. I remember seeing it several times.
A great week of episodes this week with a great mixture of storylines, and a cracking episode tonight which shows just how much Brian Kirkwood has turned Darren Osbourne into a central character from the complete joke he was a year or so ago.
Also great to see the seeds being sown of a couple of forthcoming major storylines too.
Over Christmas episodes continue on E4 as normal, while on C4 there is a triple bill on Boxing Day, while times vary for the rest of the week.
Have enjoyed it a lot this week, watching C4 pace. The Simon storyline was excellent, and the Darren story has also been brilliant so far. Looking forward to seeing the ramifications of his poker game with Warren...
P.S. And a big thanks to E4 for letting the credits play uninterrupted by ECPs or announcers last night - though knowing E4 they probably intended to run the ECP but just pressed the wrong button again!
I really enjoyed tonights episode on Channel 4, would have made for a great series finale, i know we dont have them here for the soaps, but i think Hollyoaks could pull something like that off (breaking for 2 - 3 weeks).
Completely agree with regards to the Season Finale - I actually described it as that when I first wrote the post yesterday.
I've always said that a Christmas break would work especially well for Hollyoaks, especially as it's usually moved around the schedules over Christmas.
Anyhow, watching tonight and I realised no less than four families, three of which have only been revealed in the last few months - while Dom was a year or two ago.
I agree about the Christmas break as well - even if just for a week. Also since it is moved about so much in the next 10 days, it seems like the strangest time of year to launch a promotion about it going out weekdays at 6:30 when it won't be regularly again until the New Year!

True...
Looks like I deleted the key bit of my previous post by accident - so I'll give you a clue instead to make it look like I did it on purpose!
