Oh, and I forgot to mention that after Kerching Hannah did that CITV show with Nicholas Hoult about a teen celebrity (Hoult) trying to "be normal" at school. What a contrast - putting a girl who doesn't seem able to take the hint alongside someone who was already successful and looks set to become one of our biggest young actors (even if he does put his name to something like Skins).
I loved the "spoof M&S ad" narrative at the beginning of tonight's episode on E4. It sounded just like the woman from the ads so I presume they had managed to get the same one!

Nah it wasn't Dervla Kirwan, lack of Irish accent gave it away

I'd heard a few times they were planning to refit Evissa yet again and wondered why - well, they're burning it down of course. Ste torches it as revenge on Warren - but Louise gets trapped inside, saved by Calvin of course.
Also, I think we knew which route it was taking but the episode details for the next couple of weeks reveal that Simon the lifeguard will be at the centre of a paedophile storyline.
It's been confirmed today that
OB
will disappear off screens at the end of February as
Darren Jeffries
quits in search of new challenges.
Also after ruling them out for the last year or so due to concentrating on the main show the producers have revealed they are now once again considering possible late-night specials in the future.
A few more things. Firstly, anyone else think Summer is the best addition to the cast since the McQueens?
Interesting to see Kris's brother back, though not sure he's going to be a regular. The seventh member of the McQueen clan should be arriving on screen shortly too. Those opening titles seem to need updating once again, though they'll probably wait for a couple more departures before they do anything.
Also the paedophilia storyline has now started to play out on screen - it'll be interesting to see which road they take this down as it's not a storyline where it's clear from the outset whether he's guilty or not.
They'll ruin the character by putting him in the Dog - leave the dodgy stuff to the club and keep the Dog as the innocent village pub that gets burnt down every few years!
Interesting to see the McQueens are getting a front door from next year as the producers are building the front of their house.
That article goes on to tell us now the only real houses on set are the Ashworths and Ste and Amy's new place .
Not too surprising, but didn't most of the set used to be real houses a few years ago - certainly the Cunningham's was around the corner from Brookside close, who themselves provided a couple of houses after Brookie ended.
