I know - disapointing.
Hollyoaks has been at it's absolute best in the last few weeks - and perhaps being without the net has been an advantage as I've managed to view it without the big spoilers being revealed.
The Craig/John Paul, Hannah anorexia storyline and the climax of the Claire storyline have all been absolutely superb - three great storylines which the "big 3" together couldn't match at all!
The twist in the Claire saga was inevitable, but I'm happy they revealed it now on screen rather than leaving it a few months and bringing her back from the dead then.
Apparantly Gemma Bissex is back off too Albert Square to reprise her childhood role - which is a shame as she's far better than that!

I think it's fantastic that Gemma Bissix is to reprise her EastEnders role of Clare Bates, however she may not be in it full-time but possibly a brief return stint as there are rumours going around that she's also going back to Hollyoaks too.
Have to wait for the BBC's announcement of her return and we'll know if Clare will be a long term character or not.
If the now grown up Clare Bates looks anything like Ms.Cunningham, the males of Walford will have sleepless nights! It'll be good seeing her clash with the likes of Stacey Slater and Chelsea Fox...
If Clare Bates turns out to be long term that Gemma won't be going back to Hollyoaks at all, it could be good for her to work on EE for a bit then move on to few different projects for the BBC in the future perhaps?
