i like katy, i think she's brought out a much needed lighter side to justin. i'm impressed they've updated the titles so quickly, i think it's a different shot of steph turning round?

Oh - I sussed out how to get them in widescreen on YouTube (sort of)

Widescreen Clicky

EDIT: sloppy editting by me - you not supposed to see the Sky+ thingy at the end, I thought I'd done a nice fade.....slaps own wrists!!! Shocked

Thanks for uploading them - I wasn't paying any attention to the titles last night. The only thing that really works is the two "O's" joining together before going into the opening montage. The rest remains, as Jez said, quite tacky and they really should just ditch the titles altogether and go with pad's idea.

So am I the only one who quite likes them now we've got used to them?

(though the new edit is dodgy to say the least!)

I've had a disaterous attempt of trying to change the opening myself. The only video i could get was of Brookside, and i've used the Neighbours bed (06), and then ive used the black Hollyoaks board thing, have a look - if someone could else could have ago Razz

Bad as you say!

I think it looks better on the white myself, but I've no problem with recap and a short intro being used (even on black if appropriate) - but only when it may be inappropriate to use the full titles. I don't want to see them going down Home and Away's route.

Also, if a regular recap was introduced we'd lose some of the pretty good opening sequences which recap previous storylines in much more innovative ways.

**** that - it's ITV's fault they're screening them on Wednesday! They'll be all over the press tomorrow and on the likes of GMTV/This Morning next week anyhow.

Claire really deserved best villian - she was far more evil than the rest put together!

Also glad Carmel won something too. And Sexiest Female is the one award Hollyoaks should be guaranteed really!

Im glad Carmel won as well - she is a really amusing character! Also nice to know Claire won Best VIllan.

Hollyoaks didnt do badly all things considered - they got 2 viewer voted categories which proves its popular. I expected them to pick something up for the fire episodes though.
