OMG - They have actually updated the titles on E4 First Look!

Hey were those new titles tonight! THUD!

Did anyone notice who has been taken off them?

I noticed Tom, Katy, Elliott, and it looked like a new one of Nancy. Thats all i can remember...oh and Fletch.

Edit : And the "O" on Hollyoaks now intertwine coming out.

Sonny and Will have been removed, obviously, and Fletch, Eliott, Tom and Katy are added. I think Rhys has a new shot too.

A pretty bad cut and paste job really!


New shot of Rhys and Nancy I think, and the Steph and Mercedes ones were edited slightly. Previously Steph's bum took up more screentime than some of the other characters faces!



Also, a new break sting - just a close up on one character - Zoe I think, or possibly Hannah! One of the blones anyhow!

They'll have to edit them again in a month I guess!


I'd have thought they would have put Alex in them!


Also, does this suggest Katy is staying around! There already seems to be alot of in-jokes about her bad acting!

Yep, just seeing it there it works so much better than the white background.
The logo works much better on black. I'd go as far as replacing the opening titles with a recap, the usual musical opening montage then that black title card screen.
Arrow The logo does look much better like this with the black in the background.

Arrow ...So, they're going to do a 'who dunnit' storyline for Claire... It looks like it will be a good summer in Hollyoaks Village!

Arrow I can't believe they have updated the titles - I thought they would'nt do it and leave them for another 3 years!

It could seem so, if they have added her to the titles.

I still dont like the Hollyoaks titles im afraid. They just look tacky IMHO. The music is also very irritating.

As for the Soap Awards, I expect Hollyoaks will win a few. Soon find out!

Just seen the new titles - shame to see Will go, and there is no reason to have that BRAT in there - it's not on CBeebies!

I assume you're referring to Tom, not Katy!

Completly agree - if he's in, so should all the oldies!


I don't get why they've moved Nancy either.


I guess though Fletch is returning to the show having been absent for a few months

Yes - the wingeing BRAT Tom. I like Katy, even though she can't act, she's sweet Rolling Eyes . As for the oldies, I don't see why they can't have a quick shot of them all together in the titles.
