Beat Newcomer - Kym Ryder (Corrie) - although Rob James Collier or Alison King id have preferred!
Spectacular Scene of the Year - Hollyoaks Fire
On Screen Partnership - Matt Littler and Darren Jeffries (Hollyoaks)
Best Single Episode -Tracy’s confession to Deirdre (Corrie)
Best Exit -Bill Ward (Corrie)
Best Dramatic Performance - James Sutton (Hollyoaks)
Best Dramatic Performance from a Young Actor - Ellis Hollins (Hollyoaks)
Best Storyline - Corrie
Best Soap - Corrie
Sexiest Male - Rob James Collier (Corrie)
Sexiest Female - Alison King (Corrie)
Best Actor - James Sutton (Hollyoaks)
Best Actress - None of them. Would have chosen someone not nominated.

They will probabaly win Best Soap though

Just got an email from listings dept at Channel 4, it the Hollyoaks omnibus cast list for Week 23 (4th June week) and these two are mentioned...

Don't remember a Sally Benson so it must be a new character - there is no real reason for them to bring back anyone connected with the Bensons.


Re: soap awards. Looking at those categories Hollyoaks should walk away with most of them, but I doubt they will of course!

I'm sticking to the line the soap awards mean sweet FA! I might change my mind if Hollyoaks get the awards they deserve, but then as usual their success will probably be completly devalued if EastEnders wins best soap.


Really, they talk about dodgy voting in the Eurovision - it's nothing compared to the soap awards!

In your opinion they do, but IMO Corrie has been far better and more consistent than Hollyoaks this year.

So you will be happy if Hollyoaks wins several awards then even if you think the soap awards are meaningless?

Maybe he means if he agrees with the result then they're not meaningless.

Having said that, I'd like to see Hollyoaks walk away with the quite a few of the awards including the big prize. I'd like to see Sue Cleaver win Best Actress though - an accolade long overdue if you ask me.
