The one thing I'd change with the Hollyoaks titles is the credits.

It shouldn't "end" with the slower bit twice. It should cut from the faster mix to the last scene, then have the encap with the old style sting.

I wonder if they have an updated version of the ending with the what i thought added more of a dramatic effect, this is what im on about....

Yeah - I agree. They cut a line out of the theme so they should leave that in, and then just use the final line just at the end instead.

The silence over Hannah Tointon's arrival is deafening. But the least said about her the better...

Is that Warren's little sister then. Yep, I agree!

Another good episode tonight - depending on whether that was really the end of the storyline we might see the first changes to the opening titles tomorrow - though then again, this is Hollyoaks - so maybe two years down the line will be a more accurate prediction!

For non-E4 viewers:
Also thought the Sonny and Michaela storyline was a nice bit of comic relief - loved it when Calvin arrested them!

And I guess if Will and Zoe are out, we should be expecting new students soon - though that'll probably come in September.

And I think the current crop of teenagers should be off to Uni this year too - and Josh, Amy and co. should be moving up to Sixth Form, meaning it won't be long until they have to start bringing in another generation of younger kids too.

You have to ask why Hannah got the part, and myself I can only think of two reasons:

1) Because of whose sister she is. Someone please explain, if the character is Northern than why wasn't a genuine Northern girl chosen - there are, after all, plenty of them queuing up for fifteen minutes of fame.

2) Because Hannah might have had a, well, very personal casting session with Mr Kirkwood (if you catch my drift? Wink )

So who's sister is she then?

She is Kara Tointons (Dawn Swann) sister.

Glad to see the lack of acting talent runs in the family.

I don't think that would have been a factor in her casting then - which is even more worrying!

At least though with Hollyoaks generally speaking the really bad actors disappear as quickly as they arrive - unlike others soaps I could mention!
