Well tonights C4 episode was fantastic. WIll Youngs Leave Right Now playing, i nearly had a tear in my eye, nice going into the break with that song.

I honestly thought that she wouldnt not have went through with it, oh well its done now. I would have liked Back For Good to play over the end credits.

Is there a chance of Carmel and Alexander having an "affair".

Er... you know the geezer who plays Alexander... in one of the episodes last week, he was with Jaqui in the Village, (I think it was last Thursday's episode..., but anyway....) he was speaking in a Liverpudlian accent... did anyone else notice this + sorry if already been mentioned!?!!!! Cool

I've just checked the ratings on C4 Sales and they have been pretty low now for the past week. Meanwhile E4 first look seems to doing fab. Wouldnt it be in C4s interest to stop first look?

No because firstly, First Look Hollyoaks is used to build up E4's audience - not just at 7pm but by promoting the evening line up around it.

And secondly, there is no guarantee the first look audience would tune into C4 at 6.30pm. As well as those who can't wait 24 hours, it captures an audience that isn't home in time for the 6.30pm edition (not just on E4, but also E4+1) - and I suspect alot of these are far more likely to watch a later "first look" edition than a repeated episode.

Ah i see, i guess when you add up the 6.30pm, First Look, FL+1, Sat E4 Omnibus and C4 Sun Omnibus it must add up to something like 4million?

Been meaning to do this all week, but loving the breakdown of Mike Barnes - praises for the oldies! Also, Leo doesn't have many scenes but I quite like the character - seems to add something to any scene he's in!

I don't quite get what the deal is with Kathy Barnes though - she only seems to crop up once a month or so and at other times is always at work or on a course or something. Considering she's just given birth to her granddaughter, technically shouldn't she be on fake maternity or something.

What do people think of the Claire vs Warren storyline - can't quite decide whether it's a yawnfest or the chance Claire will get her comupance - though I think I'd rather see her win this battle to be honest.

Loved the E4 announcer the other night who said something like "Oh, Claire's just not got the evils anymore" Must be about a year now since "Old Claire" was replaced by "Evil New Claire".

I love the Claire vs Warren thing, those two really work well IMO. She has lost a bit of true evil what she had last year, but shes all good.

Mike Barnes has been excellent the past week, a lot of people don't like Kathy anyway so i guess its best shes not onscreen Razz

I can't stand Kathy.

Normally I wouldn't want Warren to win and I wasn't keen on him when he first started but I hope he teaches her a lesson.

BBC America is to start airing Hollyoaks as part of big changes at BBC America.

Yep, Hollyoaks goes stateside! Did they ever completly axe EastEnders - I know they tried too, but I think they ended up having to keep it?

Anyway, I'm sure I've posted about Hollyoaks going stateside before - having a bit of a de ja vu moment here!

lol well im pleased for it. EastEnders was removed from the sheduale i think well over a year ago. Only some PBS stations continue to show it.

Make me think well if they didnt get EE, will they get Hollyoaks? I know the shows are totally different, but Hollyoaks has the potential to become a cult hit there, as there are US shows, i think like The OC, Dawsons Creek - i dont watch these (seen bits here and there) i assume its around the same audience?

Also are the soap mags out this week?
