There was definately scope for a late-night special in between the latest two episodes as we were left with a massive cliffhanger which didn't play out on screen in the next episode.
Also, notice this year there has been no mention of Comic Relief in Hollyoaks - usually they do some sort of fundraising storyline around Red Nose Day.
Missed this whole week of HO - going to be fun on Sunday! I love watching Omnibus's of completely new episodes. Sit down with a nice coffee or something and watch!
Fantastic episode tonight - loved the beginning and end!
It's one advantage of not having the episode recaps - they can recap events in more imaginative ways when required instead!
The McQueens really proved their worth this week too - there were some little moments which were fantastic tonight, especially Tina moment of triumph. Also loved the way John Paul handled Sonny - actually finding Sonny quite entertaining now.
I assume so. I think there might be a couple of "guest" characters from this week that might stick around a few weeks.
BTW - the wedding is episode 2000! Not sure how they're counting and if late-night specials and double episodes are included (most Hollyoaks double bills air as two episodes I suppose). IIRC episode 1000 was the late-night special "Leap of Faith" in which Dan killed Toby.
Options are a bit iffy - far too much "Paul Danan" - and far too recent on occassions. Anyone recall "The Siege" back in 1997 - don't remember that at all!
P,S, Rachel from Emmerdale guest staring tonight - think she did the last wedding too!
That's who it was! I knew I recognised her.
Brilliant episode on E4. Loved the fairytale aspect and all the McQueen's were brilliant as usual. Jacqui is certainly one of my favourite characters now. Certainly my favourite McQueen along with John Paul.
