That's so true. Were the very first titles like the ones before these current ones? How many changes have there been in the past.

The first three sets were similar as in they had frames scrolling up the screen.

The first set had them scrolling flat on the LHS, while the second set had them scrolling on more of a "film" - slightly curved with some slight changes to the theme, and then they were moved to the middle for the third set.


After a year the third set were updated and the theme tune changed (to what we have now) - and I think they were updated once more before being left two years until the new titles were introduced back in October 2005.

I think there were more than 2 sets before they changed the theme tune. I know there was a set that ran from late 1999 to late 2001 (after the new students arrived) but before there there were at least 2 sets.

And me! Maybe they're saving them for Monday, the writer and director credits are smaller I think.

Maybe - but tonights E4 episode is technically Monday's (C4) episode if you know what I mean.

I'm sure Monday's will have the new titles - otherwise that's just... weird? You're right though, it would be an effort to change the episode, differentiating it from its First Look counterpart.

Slim hope for Monday, but they premiered them last time on E4 so I don't see why they wouldn't! I don't think the credits were any smaller than usual!

If they don't premiere on Monday where the hell are they? it's been widely reported they would be TONIGHT on E4...

I thought the credits were less intrusive tonight, I swear they're usually wayy bigger - might have been my imagination.

Well, I'm not going to expect them on Monday. You'll only end up disapointed twice in a week!


E4 premiered the titles last time - and they've premiered Shameless's new opening this week too.

They can't have been shelved, surely? Perhaps all the talk of them looking cheesy (going by the images) forced them to scrap them. I certainly hope not.
