I'm glad they did the black credits again on Hollyoaks tonight. It makes all the difference !

Ref to E4, so I'll spoiler it just in case - though I think you all know by now:

Works everytime doesn't it - one of Hollyoaks' favourite tricks seems to be too make you think they're going to be OK before they finally snuff it!

Also second episode in a row with black credits - no music this time either! No final scene either!

Arrow Goodbye old Hollyoaks titles, and hello new titles! Crying or Very sad !!

Arrow Also... the closing titles last night on E4 / tonight's episode on E4 - was a really sad ending... and an even sader ending this evening over on E4.,.. (tomorrow's C4) - Why did they not stretch the titles across the screen? It was'nt as if it was CA'd or were plugging the next programme was it? Anyway, a sad end, to an excellent character. Crying or Very sad

Keeping the alignment of the credits kept it safe for repeats when the black b/ground won't be necessary perhaps??

Anyway, it made it more poignant!

This is probably old news, but i was checking on Media Guardian ratings and found that on Feb 8th, first look Hollyoaks got 783,000. Thats got to be one of the biggest first looks for Hollyoaks.

Probably is - lately though the E4 episodes have been getting around 600,000 viewers - around double the audience of a few months ago.

So now Becca has passed on, she's set to join that soap set in the Sky.

Yes, that's right - Ali Bastian is joining The Bill! Wink

I think she should do quite well there - certainly more believeable as a copper than that kid from EastEnders will be!

Also must say finding the Dom and Tina stuff interlinked with all the heavy stuff quite amusing.

Spoiler wise towards the end of the month:

Jake confronts Justin, with potentially disastrous consequences...

A reluctant Russ accompanies John Paul to his first gay club - with an outburst from Mercedes leaving her and John Paul at each other's throats.

The question of the future of Amy's daughter dominates the last week of the month as Sarah is concerned when Amy doesn't bond with her and Kathy wants to put her up for adoption - leading to Amy fleeing.

And Jacqui struggles to find a job as she tries to scrape together money for Davey.

He was in it i think 2 or 3 months ago. Remember when her and Mercedes smashed that ornament and it had loads of cash inside, and Carmel went and spent it on a boob job. It belonged to him.
