Transmission dates confirmed now as a double bill at 6pm on Wed 27 Dec, with another double bill on Thu 28 Dec.
Hollyoaks then returns in the New Year with a double bill on Tue 2 Jan, before returning to it's regular slots.
So we lose an episode - guess that cancels out the double episode we had for the fire.
Id prefer 2 hour episodes on seperate days than 4 episodes back to back.
There were rumours several months ago that there would be a 90 minute episode on Christmas Day - im glad they didnt do that as personally I dont think we need an episode on Christmas Day.
So it's the big court case this week - looks like a new set as well, though they are still stealing barristers from The Courtroom - this time the bloke of Brookside.
I can't stand spoilers, personally. I think it ruins the programme. If* I ran a soap opera, I'd never publish spoilers, that way it'd keep every1 on their toes.
also, when I axe it, I won't tell anyone, and then suddenly the viewers will watch as the catastrophic apocalipse (sp.?) casts its rages over my soap. STunned, the viewers' confirmation of the axe will be the announcer saying:
"A change to next week's published listings, 'showtitle' all next week.", then they'll be a special credits sequence with collages of the soap opera's best moments.
. . . oh, and to make it even more of a suprise, I'll get the writers to write it just like any other episode, and then, bamb, he gets knocked ov. . . (lol), I mean the close explodes - or something.

So... when are we expecting to see the new titles then? Will we also be treated to a new theme tune too?
Hasn't the theme tune always been the same? I've only watched since the fire where Ben rescued Tom from it, and about the time when a book was given to Justin to read, and it made him more academic - oh, and more, erm, flirty with his teacher! About the time when 'The Simpsons' moved over to C.4.
I've tried to look for past title sequences on 'YouTube', but I cannot find any from before the previous set. I don't see why they can't keep the current set - I read somewhere (c4 forums, here?) that they were designed to be easily edited, so that the producers could change shots of the actors.
