Thats a good idea, having a little break like that. I assume they will do promos for THAT spoiler.

Talking of Home and Away, the finale which aired yesterday was excellent. A tearjerker for me personally.

So... when are we expecting to see the new titles then? Will we also be treated to a new theme tune too? Very Happy

Transmission dates confirmed now as a double bill at 6pm on Wed 27 Dec, with another double bill on Thu 28 Dec.

Hollyoaks then returns in the New Year with a double bill on Tue 2 Jan, before returning to it's regular slots.

So we lose an episode - guess that cancels out the double episode we had for the fire.

Id prefer 2 hour episodes on seperate days than 4 episodes back to back.

There were rumours several months ago that there would be a 90 minute episode on Christmas Day - im glad they didnt do that as personally I dont think we need an episode on Christmas Day.

10 days later

So it's the big court case this week - looks like a new set as well, though they are still stealing barristers from The Courtroom - this time the bloke of Brookside.

Also nice to see an old face make an appearance!

Never thought I'd say that about Nicole Owen.

P.S. Loved the little touch earlier in the week with Santa and the Maxmission car!

Looks like you were right Brekkie and we will get a double episode of In The City to finish the series off on Monday!

I havent seen last weeks yet, I was going to give up but the last couple were quite good so might as well watch it to the end.

One of the tv mags said that another old face will make an appearance in 2007

One of my favourite characters, Mandy!

I hope she comes back permanently its not been the same since she left.

It had been said she was coming back, well for a while now, it will be good. I assume this has to do with a certain character leaving this Christmas.

Aaaarrghh!!!!

Annoyed - avoided all spoilers about the trial until today when the NOTW decided to print the verdict so everyone could see it in their TV guide!

Ive managed to avoid it as well, so wont be getting the NOTW today then! I anyone does post it please use spoilers tags.

The best Hollyoaks trial was Mark Gibbs for the rape of Luke Morgan. I didnt know the outcome of that in advance either which was good.

I guess its ashame that TV Mags spoil it, i thrive on spoilers myself Laughing

Oh, what were TV Mags like, lets say 10 years ago? Did they uncover all the big spoilers?

I can't stand spoilers, personally. I think it ruins the programme. If* I ran a soap opera, I'd never publish spoilers, that way it'd keep every1 on their toes.

also, when I axe it, I won't tell anyone, and then suddenly the viewers will watch as the catastrophic apocalipse (sp.?) casts its rages over my soap. STunned, the viewers' confirmation of the axe will be the announcer saying:
"A change to next week's published listings, 'showtitle' all next week.", then they'll be a special credits sequence with collages of the soap opera's best moments.

. . . oh, and to make it even more of a suprise, I'll get the writers to write it just like any other episode, and then, bamb, he gets knocked ov. . . (lol), I mean the close explodes - or something.

Hasn't the theme tune always been the same? I've only watched since the fire where Ben rescued Tom from it, and about the time when a book was given to Justin to read, and it made him more academic - oh, and more, erm, flirty with his teacher! About the time when 'The Simpsons' moved over to C.4.

I've tried to look for past title sequences on 'YouTube', but I cannot find any from before the previous set. I don't see why they can't keep the current set - I read somewhere (c4 forums, here?) that they were designed to be easily edited, so that the producers could change shots of the actors.

*Before you mock, I did say "if"!
