I cannot stand Will, he is a bit odd.

Digiguide have the provisional Christmas schedule which at the moment suggests over Christmas week there will be just three half-hour episodes on Boxing Day, Wednesday and Thursday, airing at 5.30pm.

No first look episodes at all on E4 during Christmas week, but all back to normal in 2007!

It said 5.30pm in the Mirrors tv guide.

3 a week is enough anyway, like all the soaps they dont need 5.

There will be 4 episodes back to back on Thursday 28 December starting from 5pm!

MASSIVE SPOILERS for those 4 eps....

John Paul reveals who he really has feelings for - Sarah - and gets punched by Craig. Max realises what Clare has been doing to his medication, he plans to make escape but Tom begins to drown in an icy lake. Max puts every last breath in to save Tom. Sadly Max doesnt survive..

On Channel 4. Not sure if E4 are doing first look. There would be no point i guess showing all 4 eps on E4 on the Wed.

So am I right in thinking there will be no other episodes that week if C4 are showing 4 back to back on the 28th?

Thats correct Jez.

So are we losing an episode or is there a double episode either in the week before or week after?

it would do them no harm to lose an episode. The programme is on 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year!

Home and Away in Oz lose 6 weeks over Christmas which means we will have to take the same break when we catch up over here.

Well as you know I've long been in favour of the British soaps taking time off over Christmas - especially Hollyoaks actually.

They should have a cliffhanger with THAT spoiler on Friday 22nd December, then return on January 2nd, perhaps with a double episode.

Yes I think you have mentioned it before Wink Not a 6 week break like Home and Away then? Just a 6 episode break.
