Hollyoaks: In the City begins airing on C4 on Monday 20th November four nights a week around midnight, so they'll catch up with the end of the series on E4 by Christmas.

Considering the series began on 14th August and is due to run for 20 episodes, I'm guessing they'll be a double episode to finish thing off on Monday 18th December - can't see them putting an episode on Christmas Day!

Im glad I watched on E4 - 4 nights a week for an hour would be a bit hard to keep up with.

Maybe they will have 2 episodes that week.

Not officially commissioned yet, but from what Philip Olivier said on the Paul O'Grady show it looks like a second series is being planned.

I tend to agree - but I think they've worked much better apart in recent weeks than as a couple.

I wonder if they'll just continue or whether they'll move some more characters across. That's not really neccessary IMO - but they could easily write Steph into it. It's a wonder actually she hasn't been pestering one of her former best mates for work! Wink

Back to the main show and loving the current class thing with the McQueens - the contrast between Russ and Tony and Mercedes and Jacqui when they were arguing was brilliant.

Also I hope pairing up Carmel with OB is pursued further - OB was back to being OB tonight!

And as for Clare - I guess it's a brilliant storyline when you so want Clare to be found out - but on the other hand hope she gets away with it a little bit longer!

I am now watching at 7pm now, gives me a chance to catch the news Laughing . I do have to say it feels much better watching at 7 than 6.30.

Id love a wedding next year between O.B and Carmel, i think it would be so romantic - if they hit it off.

P.S. Anyone got the number of those builders who've done up the Dog! Completly finished in about six weeks I think, though I'm not so sure about Frankie's decor.

We've only seen the outside and the flat so far though, not the actual pub.

And adding the touch of the paranormal is yet another reference back to previous storylines - remember Steph getting "In too Deep" in a late-night special about 18 months ago.

Looks like Hollyoaks is about to hit America with Hollyoaks: In the City getting picked up by BBC America.

I'm doubting the regular editions are shown there - but while we're on the subject, how far has Hollyoaks got in conquering the World.

I think it's shown in Austraila or New Zealand - I remember a channel dropping EastEnders in favour of it.

Clearly got taste when it comes to soaps over there!

Poor America. They Give us 'The Sopranos' & 'Six Feet Under', we give them 'Hollyoaks'. Rolling Eyes

It's just downright cruel.

The new look Dog is about three times the size and pretty funky - a bit too funky really for a village pub!

Anyhow, tonight's (E4) episode seemed to tie a few things up so IF they are going to update the titles, next week would be the most obvious point to do so since the fire.

The Dog does look really nice, has the same vibe to The Village Inn in Corby (if anyone knows of it Laughing )

Clare should get an award for best bitch, she is excellent.
