Last nights episode on E4 was good - does anyone know if anything is going to happen between John Paul and Craig?

I wonder how much longer it will be until Max finds out about Claire - its dragging on a bit too long now!

JP and Craig definitely seems likely - it could well be yet another bullying storyline when Sonny finds out.

And somehow I was expecting Claire and Max to end at Christmas... a traditional soap breakup. Complete with Claire packing her bags and walking off in the snow. Laughing

Claire is such a bitch that you want Max to find out - but Hollyoaks needs it's bitch at the moment so I'd hope she'll be around for a while.

I'm betting the storyline ends up with Max in prison and Tom in care!

I hope they get together - JP is cute Embarassed

I was reading on another forum that this year Channel 4 have rewarded Hollyoaks with their very first Christmas day episode following triumphant ratings, not only that, but it will be a whopping 90 minutes!

Now there was no source for this information but how would people feel about Hollyoaks having an episode on Christmas Day? The other British Soaps do so should Hollyoaks? Not sure about 90 minutes though - why not just a 30 minute episode?

I've heard rumours that JP is to have a crush on Craig, but Craig is not the same way.

I dont think anything has been confirmed about a 90min xmas special but in my eyes thats far too long.

P.S : How do you like my acting skills, come on its a joke Laughing

Well, personally I'd prefer Hollyoaks and all UK soaps to end with a cliff hanger before Christmas and take a couple of weeks off!

Think it's a Monday this year isn't it - last year Hollyoaks actually aired in pretty much it's regular slot everyday, but most previous years all the week's episodes were grouped together into one "omnibus" style screening, usually shown either Boxing Day or the day after.

A late-night episode be good - I know in it's last few years Brookside did two or three post-watershed extended Christmas specials and they worked really well.

Amy Barnes has also been doing well with the pregnancy storyline - and after today's show it's a case of "did she or didn't she?"

I assumed that Amy did, unless there will be a twist in the storyline.

Well, I told you so! Has it been long enough for Amy to have a Christmas baby - and when it Becca's due?

Back to Max and Claire - of course if Max ends up in prison it'll be over Christmas. If it did happen, it be good to have Mandy back for the storyline too.

That will never happen - the soaps pull in the big ratings on Christmas Day. Im surprised Channel 4 have never shown their soaps on Christmas Day - they never did with Brookie either I dont think. Even Five show Home and Away on Christmas Day if it falls on a weekday.

Well I think it would have been better if she had had the abortion as now the storyline will drag on and on!

Yes I definately think Mandy should come back - she was one of the best characters.

It looks like it'll be a good few weeks for the show in October with a major twist on the way...

Next week, Becca dumps Justin so Justin goes to the police and reports her for abusing him, resulting in Becca in the dock - and the prospect of her giving birth in prison.

Also, one of the McQueens is about to get a boost - literally - but how they pay for it could cost them all!

And as Amy's mum leaves, she continues to try and forget about her pregnancy and takes up joyriding with Ste!

Isnt Ste the father of Amy's baby?

And I find that storyline with Becca and Justin stupid- as if he would do that when she is carrying his baby.

No, it was another lad we'd never seen before and never seen since who was identified as the father.

And re: Becca and Justin - it seems the storyline leads to Becca's exit - which means another long serving character on the way out.
