I thought that too but it's obviously Sophie in the other bag.
Anyone else think that Sam and the twins would've died instantly in the first explosion?

Also, just thinking their were five body bags outside The Dog - yet in fact one of the twins died at the church - so is it possible someone else has died?

That's a good point, and it would be yet another good twist - but I have a feeling that's too exciting, even for Hollyoaks. I reckon "one of the twins" (I don't do names, yet. Laughing) got put in the body bag later - obviously they wouldn't just leave her in the church.

Did sam die?

With all the rubble falling on Olivia/Joe/Russ and Sophie, Why was there no holes on the second floor?

Sam definately died because there is something in the tv listings this week which says Russ and Nicole refuse to attend his funeral.

Careful... this spoiler is about NEXT WEEK'S EPISODES.

It seems that Claire is going to try killing O.B. in Hospital - Hollyoaks.com has a photo of her holding a gas mask on his face (Tuesday's episode), and the caption "Unfunny joke from Clare? Don't worry, she provides laughing gas."

It looks like he survives though, because he's telling thingy, Claire's boyfriend, on Wednesday!

This show just gets better and better! Laughing

A good few weeks ahead with a couple of things I'd forgotten about playing out:

( WARNING - BIG SPOILERS! )

The main storyline of the next couple of week's is Amy's pregnancy - and it's the Barnes at the centre of it all for the next few weeks as Gilly revealed the truth about Rhys and Kathy's affair.

Justin goes to visit his mum - so perhaps she won't appear, though the funeral is on screen next Monday. I wonder if Darlene and Richard might show up.

Justin is about to go off the rails too resulting in him getting locked up in prison after hitting Kris.

And Olivia's room will be reallocated by Wednesday with Zac moving in - but what will Olivia's diary reveal? Unsurprisingly too, Kris and Jessica fragile relationship gets even worse as a result of Olivia's death.

Also after being shunned by the village the Owen's leave Chester, except for Russ who decides his life is in Chester (why?). Anyhow, despite the guilt over Sophie's death he finds himself moving in with the McQueens as Jacqui is released from prison.

It all looks like a very promising few weeks ahead!

I saw Carrie mentioned in the episode descriptions in a soap magazine so I guess she will appear. However I wonder why they are keeping Russ - if the rest of the Owen's are leaving they should write him out too - he doesnt really add anything to the show.

I wonder then if they'll be replaced and if someone else will move into their flat - perhaps Jack and Frankie initially?

Well they have brought in quite a few new families over the past year, but they have now more or less lost the entire Burton and Owen families with just Justin and Russ remaining once everyone leaves.

JUst out of curiosity where bout in Chester is the Hollyoaks village set. I noticed the new parts of the set on friday eg the bridge and river. There is a village type place on the banks of the river nr the famous bridge that looks similar to Hollyoaks.Maybe its based on that,

Also in fridays episode, where in the village were the emergency services supposed to be- where they at the back of The Dog.

Aaarrrrgggghhhhhhh!!!!!

OFF TOPIC RANT ALERT!

When will bloody web designers realise that simplicity is always better than style. Channel 4 Sales used to be a nifty little site for getting info quickly, but now it's all stylish - and useless!

Having struggled through to try and find out Friday's ratings, they aren't even on the page!

So anyhow, anyone know the ratings for Friday - and also anyone know Hollyoaks' highest ever ratings?

P.S. Notice today in the afternoon slot E4 aren't repeating Friday's episode, instead showing a double episode of Switched! How stupid!

I expect the reason they didnt show Friday's 2nd episode or tonights episode on E4 first look was because they wanted to get as many viewers as possible for it on C4 with it being such a big episode.

I see no reason why they cant repeat it as usual on E4 once C4 have shown it though.

No idea about the highest viewing figures ever but doesnt it usually get around 2-3 million?
