So they are having a lake! It's a shame they never seem to use the river and the City Walls now around Chester - they used to make a great location and were used quite a bit!

Maybe its because the show is actually filmed in Liverpool so they cant use them much.

Anyway the standard of episodes has been excellent these past 2 weeks - the new family are great.

I'm sure you've seen the promos but Hollyoaks: In the City begins for a 20 week run on Monday at 9pm on E4.


Again it's centred around Ben and Lisa, but the rest of the Let Loose crew have been left behind in the posh part of Chester as Ben and Lisa move to Liverpool so Mersey TV don't have to find excuses for half the cast having Liverpudlian accents!


I'll certainly watch the first couple, but I expect like Let Loose I'll give it up sooner or later. I wonder what they'll do with the theme tune this time - that was the best thing about Let Loose!

I'll probably give it a try but if its as bad as Let Loose I probabaly wont watch for long. Why bring Ben and Lisa back? they were 2 of the most annoying in Hollyoaks.

I know. There characters have never been as popular since they were bought together - and even in Let Loose the other characters were much more interesting!


It be much better to take a good handful of ex-Hollyoaks characters, plus take a couple of current characters out of the show for a few months and follow them as they are now (in different locations).


It be great to see what Mandy is up too - and they could even throw in Sam on the run too, linking it with the main show.

Saw a promotion for it during Big Brother tonight. Looks quite good but we will have to see.

Meanwhile in one of the soap mags in the preview for the next issue it says something about a disaster in Hollyoaks so looks like we wont have long to wait for that storyline!

I think the verdict in the hit and run thing with Jake is due next week, so I assume the "disaster" will probably follow on from that!

Well it says who dies in the Hollyoaks disaster and there are pictures of Steph, Jake and Joe! Isnt Joe supposed to be leaving?

Yes.


And out of all the Dean's, I'd rather it was Craig that went! He is probably the most pointless character in the show!


Presumably if Jake dies Becca's baby will turn out to be his.


I think also there is the beginnings of a Justin/Nancy affair being dripped into the show!

There's high drama on Hollyoaks tonight with a special double bill. Jake (Kevin Sacre) is left in charge of karaoke night at The Dog, but Steph (Carley Stenson) finds his passed out drunk on the sofa. Mel (Cassie Powney) spies on Clare (Gemma Bissix) as she leaves Evissa after her rendezvous with Warren (Jamie Lomas). Olivia (Rochelle Gadd) finally tells Jessica (Jennifer Biddall) a few home truths. Sam (Louis Tamone) is still holding Nicole (Ciara Janson) hostage and becoming even more unstable as he rants about Russ (Stuart Manning) and Sophie (Connie Powney). And Sophie waits for Russ in The Dog, unaware that Sam is on his way, set on revenge...

6.30pm
Sophie (Connie Powney) is shocked to get a call from Sam (Louis Tamone) and turns to see him standing at the door of The Dog holding a can of petrol. He holds up his lighter and threatens to set the whole place on fire if anybody moves. But as everyone tries to escape Sam drops his lighter and the whole pub bursts into flame. Upstairs Steph (Carley Stenson) desperately tries to rouse Jake (Kevin Sacre) from his drowsy alcoholic state... Frankie (Helen Pearson) and Jack (James McKenna) are shocked when they return to a scene of horror and devastation; who will survive the fire?

Hate spoilers. You can never resist them - then regret reading them, though I'm sure that info will be given away in the TV mags anyhow!

So it's Sam then - I'd assumed it be the Valentine kid!

Well i initially thought it was going to be Evissa that was going to be set alight, with Beccas flat caving in....oh well Very Happy The spoilers do sound good though.

I dont have a death wish list, i dont actually hate anyone surprisingly!

Where have Josh and Fletch dissapeard to?
