Yes he's gone already; he used to be between Calvin and Hanna in the title sequence. Nobody has been added, yet.

Oddly, on Thursday's E4 edition Carley Stenson was shown as "Steph Cunningham", but was back to "Steph Dean" by tonight's end credits.

The new Art student character ( can't even remember her name! ) seemed to be speaking lines that would have been well suited coming out of Carmel's mouth.

Hope this is going to change in coming episodes...

James Sutton, aka John Paul McQueen, is quitting in the autumn in a storyline centred around the return of Craig Dean, which is said to have a fatal conclusion. IIRC Keiron is getting killed off.

Farewell Max.

Moving episode following his death but spoilt by myself fixating on how the Jukebox managed to reappear back in the apartment as it was being carried down the steps at the time of the accident?

Never got the point in them taking it down in the first place, especially with Max's dodgy ticker. They could at least have had him slip and been flattened to death by the jukebox instead.

It think that would be a rather sad end to the character, Brekkie, even if it did satisfy your warped sense of humour Wink

I did wonder why they were moving it on his wedding day, the reasons for doing so, and how it managed to get back into the flat again - I just put it down to dramatic licence and a small plot requirement in the end.

A fantastic funeral episode today, with the funeral itself being done exceptionally well - with a dash of humour in there too. I did think Max's "reappearance" though was a bit of an anticlimax.

Also think they've been tackling this drugs storyline with Sasha exceptionally well - Leo was fantastic in yesterdays (E4) episode.

Agreed on both points there, liked the comment Mandy made on how it's like old times, I thought the same, it felt like I'd gone back ten years. Laughing

Shame OB and Tom didn't go though...

That hasn't really happened yet has it? Tomorrow's first look on E4 will show the last appearance of Max and OB's characters.

Aw at the end credits with the old theme tune and images of Max and OB.

Shows up the ugly new theme music too.

Forgot how great that theme tune was. Brilliant.

Great ending tonight - that really is it then.
