Fantastic result for Hollyoaks at the soap awards then - top performer of the night winning both the acting awards too. It be interesting to know where they came in the vote for best soap.

Yeah, The British Soap Awards - so prestigious they're aired on TV 5 day's after they took place .

Well done to Hollyoaks - they have had a great year with lots of fantastic storylines. Still quite shocked they managed to get both Actor and Actress awards, Emma Rigby though in particular deserved her award as she was excellent.

Also would have preferred James Sutton to win Best Actor but Chris is also good.

I'm not sure about Chris but Emma definitely deserved that award. Well done Hollyoaks.

Don't reckon much to the new sponsorship bumpers - remind me of those awful ITV1 idents from a couple of years back.

I like them. It's something more soothing than that common girl going "got any extrah??!" every fifteen mins.

Yes the "got any extrah" got very annoying after a while.
