Time for a Previously section before the credits I think. I lapse in and out of Hollyoaks, and would like to know what's going on and stuff.

Moreover, some weeks they begin with stories that weren't happening the week or two before... would be good to refresh our memories.

I don't know - it would definately work with Hollyoaks, but I do like the way they recap events sometimes in the opening scenes using various techniques - like newspaper headlines, news on the radio etc.

I thought today's E4 episode might do something like that actually, but it didn't. Very much a filler episode to be honest.

Nice to see he removed the hat & glasses at the end of the episode that ended in the woods. Looks so much better without them.

So "Ding Dong the Witch is dead" - though perhaps the members of Digital Spy were a bit harsh when the news was announced, as ironically Hannah Tointon found some form of acting ability in her last few episodes.

Probably the best week of episodes so far this year - the aftermath of Sean Kennedy's body being found has led to three or four storylines, and I've especially liked the stuff with Elliott. Also a great episode tonight on E4 centred around Ste.

And with another two key storylines set to wrap up in the next couple of weeks, it'll be interesting to see what's on the horizon in the months to come.

Digital Spy

Jake Dean is leaving at the end of May and has already filmed his final scenes.

QUOTE:
A Hollyoaks source told DS: "Jake's mental health issues will play a big part in his downfall, which ties in with one of the soap's big ongoing storylines involving Warren and Louise.

"It doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to realise who he's accused of killing, but there are twists along the way culminate in Jake's exit from the soap - and one of them includes a wallet which is found in his belongings..."

So I guess he's accused of killing Sean Kennedy then.

Right time I think for the character to be going - I'm not sure if they could take him anywhere else now.

have the revoved kate from the opening credits? which would have been shown on e4 last night?

Yep, they were quick to get rid of Katy - basically made up the time with a longer shot of Steph's arse and shuffled the order slightly. Father Keiron has been in the credits a few weeks now, since OB left.

Sorry I hadn't noticed, but then again my sky plus does tend to cut off the start of the credits on most days! Very Happy

That does seem to happen when you record it doesn't it. For some reason they had a scene before the credits on Friday.

Error on Friday's credits - Valerie was credited to Jacqueline Leonard...

I assume that was a one-off - presumably she's been credited as "Bernice from Emmerdale" in other episodes.

Must say though, loving Leo at the moment. I think they've probably got the best cast of "oldies" they've ever had.
