It's been a pretty good week so far - now he's a confirmed regular it's good they've started to show Keiron at work as a priest, plus seeing a side to Darren which has largely been kept hidden - definately one of the most improved characters in the show.
Tonight's E4 episode was also very good, just dropping in little things from Jake and Steph which really added to the storyline - and bringing up a bit of the back story too.

I agree. It's important to include that retrospective angle on Jake's character. He hasn't always been barking mad; he was quite likeable before he started attempting rape, running people over and becoming a control freak. Is there any way back for him though after what he's turned into?
Hollyoaks hit the 1m mark on E4 last night for it's first look episode, with 2.2m watching the earlier episode on C4.
It also got very close last Thursday with 994,000 viewers - but that hit the C4 figures on Friday which dropped to 1.5m, compared to the usual 2m+.
Some great episodes in the last weeks or so - and a great behind the scenes of it all on the website too. Also credit to the oldie generation - Frankie has been absolutely superb in the last couple of shows.
Also, some interesting stuff coming up next week which I wasn't aware of:
Frankie has acted in well in the past few weeks, but her character is one of the most inconsistent in Hollyoaks. There are loads of examples of this, such as the "I have no son" line last week, to "Oh my precious boy" etc the episode after, but in all honest she's been written inconsistently for months.
I must admit I saw that spoiler coming ages ago - but had forgotten about it (as I thought the writers had as well) until recently!
OK, it's hardly the BAFTAs but 5 out of 14 isn't too bad - and the views of Digital Spy users are probably more important than those of What's on TV viewers....
Also another Hollyoaks spin-off this weekend, The Hollyoaks Music Show on Sunday at 12.30pm (repeated Mon 10.25am), which is basically a music show (funny that) filmed on the Hollyoaks set (surprisngly). I guess it does exactly what it says on the tin.
Another reworking of the theme tune for the Hollyoaks Music Show - and the show itself actually seemed to work too. Probably not suitable to turn into a series but could definately return with a number of one offs.
Firstly in the next couple of weeks the body of Sean Kennedy will be discovered - leading to a major change in Elliott's character when he discovers the truth about his dad.
Secondly, the fake Leukaemia storyline also comes to a conclusion as Ste stages a fake robbery as an insurance scam (yeah, as if they'd have insurance!) and their lies are exposed.
And thirdly - and most importantly, the truth about Rhys and Beth's incestuous affair comes out. Initially it's Michaela who spills the beans, but nobody believes her and blame it on her alleged drug-taking ways - but it's not long before she is vindicated.
Hannah struggles to control her eating disorder as the Ashworth family struggles with the fall out - before an even greater tragedy strikes as Rhys and Beth attempt to escape the country.

The body is found when Newt and Lauren lure Elliott to the woods, pretending to be his dad - who Elliott believes was abducted by aliens some time ago. When it's revealed as a hoax, his mother is forced to reveal the truth about his dad.
Really great episode tonight on E4. I thought the Keiron / JP storyline was done really well, especially from Kerion - while the set-up of the Elliott storyline, which leads onto something much bigger - was brilliant.

One of the best episodes of the years so far.
Ditto, the E4 one was quite superb, and you had to feel for poor Elliott, more about Sarah than meeting his Dad IMO.
